A standard unit of alcohol is about 10 grams of pure alcohol. This should take about 1 hour to process but it varies depending on the person. On average you should consume 1 unit per hour, men should drink no more than 21 units of alcohol per week and no more than 4 per day. Women on the other hand should only have 14 units per week and only 3 units per day. It is also advised that you have at least 2 alcohol free days each week. But these measurements can vary from country to country.
It takes different people different amounts of alcohol to be drunk and it also depends on the persons weight. But you cannot drive with a 0.08% blood alcohol concentration level.
