So, what is it like to actually be drunk? As most of us forget what happens after a night of drinking I hope to explain what happens.
After one or two drinks you tend not to feel too much but it all depends on your tolerance to alcohol. It's really after three drinks where you should start to feel very tipsy but at the same your confidence should be higher and in general you should be more vocal.
It varies from person to person but after about seven to eight drinks you should be very drunk, with your speech, movement and perception would all be very badly effected. It wouldn't be a surprise if you fell over a bit or if you struggled to talk clearly.
When you're drunk you don't tend to think straight and you could potentially say or do silly things, some examples are dancing weirdly, singing or 5talking very loudly and generally making a fool of yourself.
Different people have difference tolerance levels so it depends on each person when they'll get sick. If you've consumed a lot of food right before a heavy drinking session you are more likely to get sick, so even though you should generally line it with something, avoid overloading your stomach with food.
Some people may fall asleep after consuming alcohol, this is because alcohol slows down your body. It could also be due to the fact that they are tired.

Hangover
A hangover is something you are bound to experience at least once in your life, but the question is, what causes it? And what's the best cure?
Hangovers occur after a night of generally heavy drinking. There is no set amount of drinks that gives you a hangover and it varies from person to person. Some symptoms of a hangover include, headaches, dizziness, feeling sick, sleepiness, and being confused. Hangovers can occur during anytime of the day but are most common in the morning. The intensity of a hangover is generally dictated by the amount of alcohol consumed and the tiredness of the person.
There is no set cure for hangovers but drinking plenty of water and fluid is a safe bet. If you have a headache aspirin is ideal to combat it. The best way to cure a hangover is really just to stay in bed all day until you feel better.

Standard Unit of Alcohol
A standard unit of alcohol is about 10 grams of pure alcohol. This should take about 1 hour to process but it varies depending on the person. One unit is about half a pint of beer, 100ml of wine, and 35.5ml of pub measure spirits. On average you should consume 1 unit per hour, men should drink no more than 21 units of alcohol per week and no more than 4 per day. Women on the other hand should only have 14 units per week and only 3 units per day. It is also advised that you have at least 2 alcohol free days each week. But these measurements can vary from country to country.
It takes different people different amounts of alcohol to be drunk and it also depends on the persons weight. But you cannot drive with a 0.08% blood alcohol concentration level.
